Beating boredom

For people who hate boredom, here are somethings that you can try to shed it off (purely based on my experience:)
  • Clean your room, arrange your shelves (even if you do it often, do it once again!) (Reminds me of what Einstein said "If a cluttered desk indicates a cluttered mind, what does an empty desk indicate? Now combine this with "Idle mind is devil's work shop"! :)
  • Take a fast ride in your bike round the city without any particular destination
  • Skim through any film / health magazines:)
  • Watch a movie, preferably a peppy one
  • Go for shopping and spend a lot (minimum 2000Rs) !!!
  • Play an outdoor game of your liking, if that involves maximum physical exertion, the better
  • Try adding 5 unfound friends in orkut/facebook (whether you will scrap them regularly is a different question!!)
  • Learn 5 new words, seems boring, but exercising your brain is a good tonic to boredom
  • Go out with your friend and pamper yourself with a splendid dinner (dont think of money, it will come and go, after all for whom are you saving, if not for yourself and your family?)
  • Listen to a soothing music..like the one you are listening to now:)

Erratic thoughts

Everything in life comes with an expiry date. Remember Osho's saying that emotion is a movement. Hence the word e-motion, something in motion. Interesting observation.
Now, what is not in motion? Moving towards an end is what makes life interesting!!

Everybody is complete by themselves. But the lack of its awareness is what makes us sick-mentally and physically. The price to pay for that awareness is almost your life and who wants that? What a complicated creation are we, human beings!!
